08:06pq: Who do I ping for freebsd failures in Wayland CI?
08:07emersion: what kind of failure?
08:07pq: https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/aycyang/wayland/-/pipelines/889690
08:08pq: retry didn't help
08:08emersion: i can do level 1 support, and if that's not enough jbeich is the person to ping
08:08pq: Assertion failed: (wrapped_calls_fcntl > n), function do_os_wrappers_dupfd_cloexec
08:09pq: I don't think this is the first time I've seen this either, but it was a while ago and I thought something resolved it.
08:10pq: that git branch is not old, either
08:34emersion: hrm that test…

12:53swick[m]: pq: nathan vegdahl from blender looked at the cm protocol and wants to talk about it. would you be up for a call today?
12:54pq: not today
12:54nielsdg: Also, he showed off in a different on-site presentation that he was working on this: https://github.com/EatTheFuture/image_tools
12:55swick[m]: pq: ack. I'll try to take some notes.
12:55pq: cool, thanks
12:56pq: maybe we can continue by email once you've had the orientation call?
12:56nielsdg: pq: Btw, he re-iterated a couple of times how happy he was to see how well all of this was thought out already :)
12:57nielsdg: Given that's coming from "the" Blender color guy, I think that's quite a feat to be proud of , so congrats on that already :D
12:58pq: om goodness!
12:59pq: thank you very much, years of painful flailing around paying off :-D
13:00swick[m]: indeed
13:14JEEB: nice
14:18swick[m]: pq: short version: we might want to have a plan for potentially upgrading from CIE 1931 to a newer version but it's probably not going to happen anyway. The different color volumes and what they are for is not obvious from just looking at the xml. Maybe we should more aggressively link to color-and-hdr and other related documents. Maybe the description in the xml needs improving.
14:41dottedmag: pq:
14:42dottedmag: oops, fat fingers
14:54pq: swick[m], all agreed. Once monitors and content starts coming with more recent colorimetry spec than 1931, we can get there then. Or make a whole new extension, because how would one even map between.
14:55pq: how do we do web links in Wayland XML without making it unreadable? footnotes?
15:51DodoGTA: What could `not a valid new object id (4278190082), message data_offer(n)` mean?
21:28d_ed[m]: I've seen that if the client and server's concept of which IDs are recycled or not get out of sync
