06:57countrysergei: it's signal collect limitation is that it designs it's dictionaries internally for 32bit, which means the stitching of filled in ints out of compressed ints or sorted arrays is done at this level, that is not a limitation to 64bit archs but anything below would not either run or would need compiler extension that might be missing on java, archs like 16bit mcus.
07:06countrysergei: it's either way w3 consortium which has the needed code, so things do not have to be done from scratch
07:07countrysergei: but even there a lot of work and testing needs to be done, but the compression looks very interesting, it can be mixed with ordered or partitioned elias fano, which in one case is in public domain ITR.
07:18countrysergei: so then hopefully the sorted array based dictionaries get compressed, and an openmath formulas evaluation on new operands can be asked very fast, but it would require checkpointing serialization format, which they have, they do not have error recovery, cause they said they made so professional solution that they have no errors.
07:21soreau: -_-
07:28countrysergei: https://github.com/xgillard/smallbitset/blob/main/src/lib.rs they have similar thing as w3c dicts in rust too.
07:28countrysergei: there are few coreops too
